Hokie Happy Hour – Tuesday, January 20th at 6:30 – It’s our first one of the year! We’ll be heading out to Woody’s in Cary located at 8322 Chapel Hill Road. Don’t worry Hokies, we’ll be making our way around the Triangle so if you can’t it make it in January, there will hopefully be a HHH near your soon!
Roller Skating Outing at Jellybeans – Wednesday, Jan 26th 7:00-10:00 – This is a great event for everyone who wants to get a little exercise, families with children, or anyone who loves 80’s music! Meet us at the Jeallybeans located at 1120 Buck Jones Road. You can pay at the door, but be sure to tell them you are with Virginia Tech because you’ll be able to get in at a discounted price. It’s going to be a $3.00 admission for Hokies with a $2.00 quad skate rental or $3.00 for roller blades.

Show your support for the Hokies by coming out to the Carolina Ale House and wearing your most festive ORANGE Hokie Gear. We’re going to have a lot going on including cake and an orange juggling contest at half-time. Whoever juggles three oranges the longest during half-time wins the prize. So if you have some fancy skills or have always wanted to be part of the half-time show… this is your chance to shine! Come out early to get a good seat.

We’re excited to announce that for our 2010 Holiday Social we’ll be attending the Jingle Ball at the Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. Pull out that cocktail attire you’ve wanted to show off, bring an unwrapped toy valued at $20 or more, and come enjoy food, drinks, dancing, and other Hokies! Everyone who enters the museum must donate a $20 toy or pay $30 admission. This is a 21+ event. Come join us as we tailgate before the UNC game at the Carolina Brewery on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. This year tickets will be $30 and include a meal before the game, non-alcoholic drinks, tip, and their shuttle service to the stadium. The event will start 4 hours before kickoff so look forward to a delicious brunch if it turns out to be a noon game.
Please note the $30 does NOT include a ticket to the game, UNC has made it more difficult to turn Kenan Stadium into Lane Stadium South as their program’s popularity has grown. Please feel free to stay and watch the game though at Carolina Brewery and enjoy some of the delicious brews they have on tap.
