Seeds sown over the past 20 years have taken root and the Blacksburg-Roanoke region is about to make headlines as a world-class center for science-based entrepreneurship in the 21st century.

Join fellow alumni, family, and friends for an exciting wine tasting and presentation. Attendees will also be able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes. All proceeds benefit our chapter scholarship fund.

Date: Thursday, March 25, 2010 (RSVP by March 19th)

Time: 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Cost: $32 per person and includes wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres, and presentation.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Come join fellow RTP Hokies on Thursday, April 15 to donate blood at the American Red Cross’ North Raleigh Blood Donation Center.

Date and Time: Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 3pm-7pm.

Time slots for donation are available every fifteen minutes. Please visit our online sign-up sheet if you wish to participate.

Despite the snow, the brewery tour at Big Boss today is still on! Come join us at 1:45 for a tour and $1 samples (map).

I’ve been out in Raleigh this morning, and the roads are mostly clear, and seem to be melting already (as of 10am).

Join your fellow RTP Hokies for a fun Saturday afternoon, with a tour of the Big Boss Brewery!

Date: Saturday, February 13, 2010
Time: 1:45pm – 3:00pm
Location: Big Boss Brewery, 1249 Wicker Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604

We’ll meet at 1:45pm on Saturday, February 13th. The tour is free, and beer samples are available for $1 each (limit 3). Big Boss doesn’t take reservations, and the tour is popular, so be sure to arrive by 1:45 to ensure a spot.

Wear your Hokies gear so we can all find each other–we’ll meet out front in the parking lot.
